About the Artist

Hello! I’m Alexa Brazelton and I currently run Familiar Studios. I graduated from Laguna College of Art and Design (LCAD) with a BFA in Illustration and currently looking for work. I love fantasy and it tends to be the focus in a lot of my illustrations, as well as foxes and bugs I have created. Namely my

three-tailed fox Aisling and her bug friend Lorcan. I’ve been wanting to be an artist for as long as I can remember, I would often come home and repeat art projects we would do in class in elementary school. My main goal is to create a fantasy comic featuring my fox's and bugs that is loosely based on

Celtic Mythology and Familiars.

I work primarily digital, with Adobe Photoshop and Procreate, but also with oils and sometimes gouache and water color. I love drawing fanart, mainly The Legend of Zelda, Deltarune, Pokemon, and other anime and video games.
